Courses

Kim Richardson is an experienced tutor working in adult education as a well as teaching privately. She also tutors on painting holidays, demonstrates and runs workshops around the country for art clubs and societies. Kim has had articles published in Artist and Illustrator magazine, and is asked every year to run her popular workshops at the Artists and Illustrator Show in London.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, Kim's enthusiastic and charismatic approach will encourage you to make an individual response to watercolour painting, through lively demonstrations as well as one-to-one guidance and support. The courses aim to enable you to gain confidence as well as
experience in a variety of watercolour techniques so that you apply your own individual interpretation to your work.

Holidays

The painting holiday courses aim to enable you to gain confidence, as well as experience, in a variety of watercolour techniques and their application. Kim will also give practical tips as well as techniques and demonstrations in solving problems.

Some of the courses will take place in the studio and some will be both in the studio and outdoors; taking full advantage of the scenery and grounds that are available.
These courses have a full wet weather programme should the weather let us down.

All the painting holidays are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists.

For any of Kim's courses, students are very welcome to bring their own subjects to work from if they wish. So why not come along and learn some new skills, or develop existing skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
